I sent a font request, but you have not fulfilled it. Why?
Before you request us to port a font, please keep in mind that we cannot port fonts which are not freeware or redistributable due to licensing issues; moreover we do not port priced/unlicensed fonts for private use (it is not permitted by law and surely it is not useful for the iPhone users community). After evaluating the font license, we perform the following steps: porting, testing, release on the website, release on ModMyi repo. In some rare cases, if the requested font is extremely unfit for the iPhone, we give up on porting it.
Where can I see if my font request has been accepted?
In this page you will be able to check over the workflow in order to see what we are doing with your request. Of course we need some time in order to evaluate the font license.
The license files attached to some fonts say that they are not redistributable, but you have ported them and you are distributing the iPhone version of the fonts. Is it legal?
Some fonts cannot be redistributed without the written consent of the author; in this cases we always ask for the author's permission and wait for an answer. If the author cannot be contacted, does not reply, asks for a fee or denies the approval, we do not proceed with the porting. For each font whose license says it cannot be redistributed, if you see it on this website, it is because we had the kind permission of the author to port and redistribute it.
How can I download the themes exposed?
We do not allow the direct download of other's people work: this is why we always display, in each single post description:
the Cydia Source of the package (when the theme is available on Cydia)
a download button which links the webpage where the author allows the real download (when the theme has been discovered on the net)
Can I have more info about a theme or ask for more icons?
We do not design themes thus we cannot provide icons for them. If you wish, you may contact each designer personally.
Who is the author of the themes exposed? How can I contact him/her?
The author of each customization is clearly indicated in each theme page. In case of customizations found on Cydia, you can contact the owner via the package page on the repository (if the email address is available); in case of customizations found on the web, you can directly go to the designer's website by clicking on the "Designer website" field.
What about Dexter Theme?
Dexter theme is a very old and abandoned project. The owner of that theme does not belong to iPhoneRuler staff anymore, and we decided not to go on with that work.
