How To: add a font to BytaFont

To add the downloaded font to your BytaFont library you have to follow these steps:

  • unzip the archive on your PC/Mac
  • connect to your iPhone
  • copy the folder <font name>.font to /var/mobile/Library/MyFonts (MyFonts folder is created when you install a font from Cydia – Fonts section, otherwise you can create it manually)
  • run BytaFont and change the fonts according to your preferences (see BytaFont overview)

    you can find lots of font to use with BytaFont in Cydia (Fonts section, ModMyi repo) or you can download them from this website and install following the how-to at http://www.iphoneruler.net/how-to-add-a-font-to-bytafont

    @HUGO
    we port only Latin-based fonts.. btw if you port chinese fonts yourself, you can apply them via BytaFont as any other font
